Location: Lakeside area of Washington Township via Angling Road to Lay Road, turn on Bonnieview Drive to Lakeview Drive to Peninsula Drive.

Setting: Fun and recreation area with pavilions and picnic tables, grills, playground equipment and a handicap-accessible dock courtesy of CDBG funds, Township- maintained volleyball court, benches, fire rings and ornamental trees and plants for the community’s enjoyment.

We would also like to thank the Operation Outward Reach Program for the construction of the picnic pavilions. Grills are available at the pavilions and port-a-johns are on site May through September.

Unfortunately, Peninsula Park and Wainer Park experience some vandalism, usually in the Spring and Fall. Because of this vandalism, Washington Township has had to take measures to protect taxpayer investments in these Parks.  Gates have been installed across Park entrance roads and are closed as deemed necessary. Please contact the Township Office if you need entry.
